
In November 2025, PC READS hosted Michelle McAnaney, the founder and lead Independent Educational Consultant of The College Spy at the Park City High School Lecture Hall for a presentation on college planning for students with IEPs and 504 Plans. Michelle personally consults with families through the “Countdown to College” concierge service, teaches popular courses and workshops for students and parents, and has visited 300+ college campuses. She emphasized the importance of preparing for the college transition early and covered important information including how to research colleges and campus support, considerations with respect to disclosing a disability and tips on handling procrastination.
After the presentation, a panel discussion provided the audience of about 40 attendees the opportunity to ask questions and seek advice. Panelists included:
