Every spring, PC READS hosts an expert speaker in the area of mental health. Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. This interactive training session provides critical skills and resources to parents, educators, coaches and others working with youth. This event is hosted by PC READS and the training will be given by Holly Todd, Crisis Counselor, NUES.
This is an 8-hour course that will be divided into two sessions. You will attend on both April 4th and April 6th and either register for the Day Session (10 am – 2 pm) or the Evening Session (4:00 – 8:00 pm). Each session includes a meal. Space is limited.
