Given the co-existence of learning differences and mental health issues, PC READS hosts annual programs to support local families and educators in this area. Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. This interactive training session provides critical skills and resources to parents, educators, coaches and others working with youth. This event is hosted by PC READS and the training will be given by Holly Todd, Crisis Counselor, NUES.

This is an 8-hour course that will be divided into two sessions. You will attend on both November 6th and November 13th from 9:30 am – 1:30 pm. Each session includes lunch. Space is limited.
