This year’s annual community presentation will feature Natalie Walker, a Literacy Partner with the 95 Percent Group. Many local elementary schools have implemented reading curriculum materials from the 95 Percent Group. Following her presentations, representatives from local schools will participate in a panel discussion. Parents will leave with a better understanding of how children learn to read, what the “science of reading” means and why structured literacy is important.
