Celebrating strengths is essential for developing self-esteem and advocacy skills in students. Each year, PC READS’s Elevating Literacy Award will honor an individual who has made a significant contribution towards improving the lives of students with reading disabilities, including dyslexia. This award will recognize an individual’s service to students, families and/or the greater Park City community.
Nominations may be based upon teaching experience, administrative work, professional development training, family support, event programming or any other area of work or service that demonstrates exemplary efforts supporting the mission of PC READS. The nomination period typically opens in January and the recipient is recognized at our annual spring fundraiser, Gin & Phonics.
