Most participants are receiving support through one or more of the following:
- A 504 Plan of Accommodations: typically for diagnosed reading, writing, math or attention disabilities
- An IEP: common special education eligibility categories are Specific Learning Disability (usually in reading, math or writing) and Other Health Impairment (for attention)
- Extra assistance from a private tutor
- Tier 2 or Tier 3 intervention in school
